My cat is 13 and recently started frequently vomiting after eating. Apparently this is common in older cats. We tried a raised sloped bowl with no improvement. The vet suggested 5-6 small meals a day instead of twice a day. I bought this, set it up to feed him 1 portion every 3 hours from 6 am until 9 pm. It has solved his problem. Great product. Easy to set up. Easy to clean.

The best thing so far about this feeder is the set up. Seamless connection to my 2.4/ 5ghz mesh network. Super easy. The app is also really easy to navigate. I like the see-through window to see how much food is left. I like the "meal call" feature. I haven't really needed the lock feature quite yet. My cat is smart, but not that smart. I also do really like the backup battery power. We lose our power quite a lot. It's good to know at least our cats will be fed for at least as long as the batteries last before we get home.
I love this thing!! I'm already a fan of these pet acessories so I knew what I was getting into... And this unit did not disappoint. I have a ton of cluster headaches because I carry a lot of life's stress in my body-- this doesn't fix that but it helps take the extra stress with my puppies off and along with timers, camera and etc helps reduce my occupations!! Great and reliable tool with the dogs management.
It was pouring down rain the day this unit was delivered so I wasn't thrilled that it was resting on our front door. Still getting wet from the elements but I was grateful that the packaging had it wrapped in another bag, so it was dry when I unpacked it. I had seen a video unboxing of this feeder so it helped me know exactly what I had to do. I follow the directions to download the app for my Android and I connected all of the parts to the feeder. It works right out of the box.
